Basia’s Diary was a perfect resource as it is a Primary Source that she wrote. The diary allowed me to dig deeper into what it really felt like living during the Second World War. Furthermore, Basia’s Diary was concrete evidence as it is a physical recollection of her memories.

The video of Basia in Poland speaking about her Fathers heroic action of hiding polish jewish people in a bunker was great for this project as it allowed us to hear Basia speaking about her experiences and memories.
